About Graham
Graham Oey is a Republican who devoted his entire career to serving the people of South Dakota. A graduate of the University of South Dakota School of Law, Graham chose public service from day one, building a career grounded in integrity, service, and a deep respect for the rule of law.
Today, Graham serves as an Attorney for the City of Sioux Falls, working to ensure local government operates fairly, efficiently, and transparently for residents. Previously, he served as legal counsel for South Dakota State University and as an attorney for the South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation.
While at the Department of Labor and Regulation, Graham worked closely with legislators to advocate for smaller, more responsible government. He helped identify unnecessary regulations, cut red tape, and streamline processes so South Dakotans could work, hire, and grow businesses more easily. Earlier in his career, Graham spent three years as a prosecutor, standing up for victims, supporting law enforcement, and protecting public safety.
Beyond his professional work, Graham has remained deeply engaged in the Sioux Falls community. He has coached youth sports, investing in the next generation both on and off the field. He also served on the as Chair and member of the Sioux Falls Zoning Board of Adjustments, helping guide responsible growth while protecting neighborhood integrity and property rights.Graham understands that government works best when it is principled, practical, and focused on people—not politics. His experience across state and local government reflects a steady commitment to public service rooted in fairness, efficiency, and common sense. Graham and his wife are proud west siders in Sioux Falls, where they are raising their daughters in the community they proudly call home.
