Why I'm Running
I’m running for the South Dakota Senate because I believe public service is a responsibility, not a stepping stone.
My entire legal career has been dedicated to serving the people of South Dakota. As a prosecutor, I stood up for victims and worked to keep our communities safe. At the Department of Labor and Regulation and as legal counsel for South Dakota State University, I worked to cut red tape, support responsible government, and ensure taxpayer dollars were used wisely.
Today, as an attorney for the City of Sioux Falls, I continue that commitment to practical, accountable leadership.
But this campaign isn’t just about my career, it’s about serving South Dakota.
My wife and I are raising our daughters here in Sioux Falls. We are proud West Siders. Our kids attend local schools. We coach youth sports. We work, volunteer, and build our lives in this community. Like so many families in District 11, we want safe neighborhoods, strong schools, and an economy that allows our children to build their futures right here in South Dakota.
I’m running because South Dakotans deserve steady, thoughtful leadership; leaders who listen first, work hard, and focus on real solutions instead of political noise.
I believe in:
-
Limited, responsible government
-
Protecting public safety
-
Supporting families
-
Preserving local control
-
Keeping South Dakota affordable and opportunity-driven
District 11 deserves a Senator who understands how government works, and how to make it work better.
I’m ready to serve.
